On June 23, 2024, the 14th consecutive edition of "Pirin Run" will take place. The Municipality of Bansko and the "Marathon" Association are the organizers of the mountain running competition, which starts at the Lower Station of the cable car (995m above sea level), follows the ski path, continues through Banderishka Poliana, along a trail through Banderitsa Hut and Vihren Hut, with the finish at Vihren Peak (2914m above sea level).
